Chris Littler - Assistant Coach/Development Squad Coach

During the 2011 season Chris began assisting at City of Birmingham sessions alongside his coaching role at Boldmere. He continued to assist both Senior and Junior squads at City of Birmingham for the remainder of 2011 before taking control of the City of Birmingham Development Squad in January 2012. Alongside his role as Coach of our Development Squad, Chris regularly assists with the coaching of our Senior Squad.

Chris's ability to improve swimmers technically has never been in doubt. His attention to detail with each of his swimmers' stroke technique and race skills makes him the ideal coach to work with these talented young swimmers. Despite the squad objectives of developing stroke technique and race skills taking absolute priority over time based results, Chris regularly sends large teams from his Development Squad to Regional Championships where they have won numerous medals and has had representation from his squad at National Championships.
